Eric Holder to be Investigated on Perjury Charges
Karl Rove told Greta Van Susteren tonight that Eric Holder lied under oath to Congress when he told Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) that targeting journalists was bad policy and something he'd never been involved in.
The AP investigation demonstrates the urgent necessity to modernize laws that have been outpaced by technology and the ease of collecting massive amounts information about Americans. We need to modernize the Electronic Communications Privacy Act of 1986 by requiring a warrant for surveillance involving communications, phone records, and movements. We need to update the Espionage Act of 1917 to limit prosecutions to cases involving real harms to our national security.
Islamic tricks didn't work in Japan (video)
From Bare Naked Islam:
This Pakistani Muslim and family illegally entered Japan, claiming refugee status saying their life had been threatened by the Taliban. But his application was denied by Japanese officials. So he concocted a story about how his daughter was sick and needed medical help. While the Japanese were reviewing his application again, he grew impatient and barged into the immigration office, demanding a decision immediately, or else he and his family were going to commit suicide right there. He was quickly deported.
NY Archdiocese Pays for Health Plan That Covers Contraception

As the nation’s leading Roman Catholic bishop, Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan of New York has been spearheading the fight against a provision of the new health care law that requires employers, including some that are religiously affiliated, to cover birth control in employee health plans. But even as Cardinal Dolan insiststhat requiring some religiously affiliated employers to pay forcontraception services would be an unprecedented, and intolerable, government intrusion on religious liberty, the archdiocese he heads has quietly been paying for such coverage, albeit reluctantly and indirectly, for thousands of its unionized employees for over a decade.
